The start of something

Hi!

Welcome to Titus 2 Men.

This blog centers around a book of the Bible: the book of Titus.  The book of Titus is a letter written by the apostle Paul, to a man named Titus.  It's after the book of Second Timothy and before the book of Philemon in the New Testament, the fifty-sixth book of the Bible.

What is special to me, and is the theme of this blog, is the second chapter of the book of Titus.  Below is the text, in the English Standard Version:

But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine. Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness. Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. Likewise, urge the younger men to be self-controlled.

There is something here for all of us. I’d invite you to look at the part that applies to you and think of where you are in relation to where Paul advises that you should be.

Thank you for reading this.  Let's walk this path together.
